Staying at Highland falls gives you close access to many trails apart of the Appalachian Mountains, as well as plenty of other smaller Hikes to explore. We're also close to brasstown bald, the highest point in north georgia.
If you're looking for something bigger than our properties coosa creek, vogel state park is a 10 minute drive. Helton creek falls is also very close to our property, an easy .2 mile hike to see this beautiful site!
Endless fishing opportunities in our many streams, national parks close by or lake nottely. Visit Meeks Park for a family picnic & seasonal ducks that gather in coosa creek.
Visit one of the many wineries, see what our historic downtown has to offer. Blairsville has excellent restaurants to choose from & were located 30 minutes from downtown blueridge.

Expecting somewhat rustic, but found the cabins to be well-appointed with comfy beds and modern amenities. We enjoyed a family reunion with family members in different cabins. All are similar and just a short walk from one another. We enjoyed evenings on the porch …watching the deer along the tree line and listening to the creek nearby. The dark sky allowed us to star gaze, too! Even in late June there was a cool breeze that allowed us to spend most of our time outdoors. The AC inside was a bonus. This little enclave is a real gem!

I begin this brief review with a confession...after vacationing several years in Blairsville and staying at the Cabins of Highland Falls in the past...We love it so much we recently purchased our own cabin to enjoy and make available to vacationers looking for the comforts of home in the midst of a quiet, stunningly beautiful setting.

Highland Falls is a great place to relax and get back to the beautiful outdoors. A stream runs through the property dotted with 13 rental cabins managed as a group but individually owned. The cabins sleep 6 or more people and provide many items for your comfort and convenience. The property has an on site manager who is very friendly and helpful. The manager even provides skewers for a marshmellow roast around the bonfire down by the stream.

Specials typically run Sunday through Thursday. Pets are welcome in certain cabins. ($50 non refundable pet fee). There is a 2 night minimum on standard days. There is a 3 night minimum during holidays and the month of October.
I absolutely enjoyed staying at the Oasis cabin in Highland Falls. This cabin was amazing, it had a two story flagstone wood burning fireplace with an impeccable decor. The best part was the 40 foot deck. We had a large family visiting and there was so much room with wraparound seating and a sunken hot tub. Although it slept 7, we easily could entertain 15-20 on the deck with ample seating. During the day our young children played badmitten and volleyball out back, they even had a volley ball net set up for play. This had to be the most relaxing vacation I could ever imagine..we will definitely come back and stay at the Oasis!!
